How does your team measure up?
7on7U Team Combat Combine each team competes individually and as a team unit to determine overall score versus other teams competing in combine. The 7on7 University Combine competition format tests each team’s individual athlete in specific drills and skills that include:

- 40 yard sprint timing
- Zybek measured Vertical
- Broad Jump
- Bench Press
- Individual 1 on 1 position testing- During the testing portion of the 7on7 Combines each player on the teams participating are put into position groups (i.e. - all QB’s compete in same group, all RB’s at combine compete in group, ect).
How Team points are awarded in the 7on7 University Team Combat Combine:
Scoring Teams 40 Yard Times-
Teams are awarded points according to average overall calculated team time. The lower the teams 40 time score, the more points the
team is awarded. The amount of points for the 40 yard dash are determined by the amount of Teams or Schools participating in the Team Combat Combine- Example- if it is a 16 team 7on7 Combine- teams are awarded between 1 to 16 points, 16 points going to the team with the lowest (fastest) overall 40 time-1 point going to the highest(slowest) overall 40 time.
Determining each Teams overall Vertical Score-
All Vertical measurements of each player on participating teams are added together to come up with the average overall total feet and inches the team registered. The higher the overall measurement a team has the more points are awarded. Example- if it is a 16 team 7on7 Combine- teams are awarded between 1 to 16 points, 16 points going to the team with the highest overall Verticle measurements- 1 point going to the team with the lowest overall Verticle measurements.
Determining each Teams overall Broad Jump Score-
All Broad jump measurements of each player on participating teams are added together to come up with the total feet and inches the team has. The higher the overall measurement a team has the more points are awarded. Example- if it is a 16 team 7on7 Combine- teams are awarded between 1 to 16 points, 16 points going to the team with the longest overall Broad Jump measurements-1 point going to the team with the lowest overall Broad Jump measurements.
Determining each Teams overall Bench Press Score-
All Bench Press lbs of each player on participating teams are added together to come up with the total lbs benched. The higher the overall lbs a team lifts the higher # of points is awarded. Example- if it is a 16 team 7on7 Combine- teams are awarded between 1 to 16 points, 16 points going to the team that has benched the most overall weight, 1 point going to the team with the lowest overall Bench press weight.
Determining the seed and points awarded for the 7on7 Tournament portion of the 7on7 Team Combine-
The Tournament seeds are determined by overall performance in the Combine testing- All testing scores and place each team finished in the Combine testing determines what seed teams are going into the 7on7 Tournament- the Team that had the best overall performance will be a #1 seed, the team with the worst overall team performance will be the 16thseed. The team that wins the Tournament receives 16 points for first place-1pt for 16th place. The 7on7 Passing Tournament will be single elimination.
Determining the Overall 7on7 Team Combine Champion- The Team that has the highest points overall will be named the 7on7 Combine Champion. Award are given individually for MVP's of each position and Fastest man, Strongest Man, Over all Team Combat MVP
